accessibility to technology

Here is the information we have so far in regards to students’ accessibility to technology in the School District of Philadelphia:
  • Students who borrowed Chromebooks for online learning will be able to keep them over the summer, but must return them at the start of the next academic year. Click here for more information about the school district's Chromebook loan system.
  • For more information about Internet access, please visit the school district page Internet Access Options for Families.
  • We have also found the school district's Chromebook & Internet FAQs page to be quite useful and contain resources to help students and their families use their Chromebooks and gain Internet access.

If you are interested in learning how to code, but didn't receive a Chromebook from your school or have some other technological limitation that would prevent you from being able to attend the camp, please let us know in the registration form. We will try our best to make accommodations. We are currently looking into fundraising options to provide for the campers who are in need of such technology.
