Kelly Garcia-Ramos
​Camp Coordinator/Instructor

Kelly Garcia-Ramos is an invited instructor for the GLIST program. Kelly is a recent graduate of Carver High School of Engineering and Science and will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 2020. The opportunity to show the potential of STEM to young girls and inspire them to reach their goals is the epitome of accomplishment for her, and she hopes to learn as much from the experience of teaching as the girls learn from the camp.

Sunme Zhao

Sunme is one of GLIST's founding members, and also a graduate of Harriton High School. This fall, she will be attending the University of Pennsylvania where she would like to major in Earth Science. She had a blast at last summer's coding camp, and she's excited for another year!

Melina Daniilidis

Melina is the founder of GLIST and a recent graduate of Harriton High School. She will be majoring in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Melina is excited that GLIST will be running its second annual coding camp and looks forward to meeting this year's campers!

Amelia Sharpe
​Camp Instructor

Amelia is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania where she is studying Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. Amelia is currently the Co-Lead of Penn Aerospace Club’s Aircraft Team and also a photographer for The Daily Pennsylvanian! She is really passionate about aerospace, electric vehicles and coding. Building her first airplane this year with her team is one of her best experiences. Amelia is happy to help out the GLIST team this summer. Feel free to ask her more about what she does!

Riya Narayan

Riya is a rising junior studying Computer Science with a minor in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. She has had some experience mentoring students with GLIST during the academic year, but this is her first time helping out with the summer camp - she's really excited! Penny Cohen

Penny is a rising 8th grader at Bala Cynwyd Middle School. She has been participating in GLIST since 6th grade, and she is looking forward to help instructing the camp this summer. This is her first year as an instructor, and she can't wait!

Roha Herial

Roha is a rising 8th grader at Bala Cynwyd Middle School who has been a GLIST member since 6th grade. She hopes that GLIST's summer camp will encourage other girls to explore STEM. This will be her first year as an instructor and she can't wait to meet all of the campers!

Annie Liang

Annie is one of GLIST's founding members and a recent graduate of Lower Merion High School. She will be attending Princeton University in the fall of 2020, majoring in either Operations Research and Financial Engineering or Computer Science. Annie is excited to join as a coding instructor for this year's camp and is looking forward to meeting all of the campers!

Jade Ho

Jade Ho is a rising eighth grader at Bala Cynwyd Middle School, and has been in GLIST since she was in sixth grade. Jade taught at the GLIST summer camp last year. She hopes that everyone will find the same love of coding that she has and cannot wait to meet this year's campers!

Anya Mushakevich

Anya Mushakevich is a rising senior at the  University of Pennsylvania, where she studies Computer Science, English, and Philosophy. She admires young girls who are passionate about technology and is really excited to support them in their journey of learning to code.

Alice He

Alice is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studies computer science, economics and mathematics. She is excited to be an instructor at this year's camp and hopes that GLIST will inspire girls to pursue careers in STEM. She can't wait to meet all of the campers!

Alexandra Aukburg

Alexandra is a rising junior at Harriton High School and a recent winner of the Mathematical Association of America's Maryam Mirzakhani American Mathematical Contest (AMC) 10A Award. She's been teaching with GLIST for four years and loves getting young girls interested in computer science. She's excited for her first online teaching experience and can't wait to spread the love of coding!

Audrey Yang

Audrey is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying Computer Science and Linguistics. She's looking forward to being an instructor for the camp and can't wait to meet the campers!

Trinity Pike

Trinity is a third year mechanical engineering major at UCSD graduating in June 2021. Outside of class, she is one of the Co-Presidents of Engineers Without Borders at UCSD, and an undergraduate researcher for Project Lim(b)itless. After graduating, she hopes to advance sustainability and diversity in the engineering field. She’s looking forward to meeting all the GLIST campers and supporting other instructors with this incredible initiative!

Hali Shin

Hali is a rising sophomore at Cornell University, majoring in Computer Science with an intended external specialization in Cognitive Science. Her interests in CS are artificial intelligence, video games, and UI/UX. She is passionate about encouraging girls to pursue STEM and this is her first year as an instructor.

Sara Strenger

Sara is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying Computer Science. She is also a member of Penn’s Varsity Cheerleading team. She loves to code and has experience building iOS apps, web apps, and more! Sara is excited to use her experience with programming to teach our lovely campers!
